FLEX Foot lever won’t tighten or feels loose
Possible Causes:
- User is not taking advantage of the lever’s ratcheting feature
- Lever screw is loose or was removed
Solutions:
- The FLEX Foot lever moves left and right to tighten or loosen the FLEX foot. Sometimes, the lever can become too loose after many uses or begin that way out of the box. The lever features a ratcheting mechanism to allow the lever position to be re-adjusted. To activate the ratcheting mechanism, simply pull the lever outwards, move the lever left or right depending on the direction you would like to reposition, then release the lever. Now try tightening the FLEX foot once again. This method can be repeated until desired tightness is achieved. For a visual example, please check out the Powernail F-Series FLEX Foot Lever Adjustment video.
